Music is a core subject. All students should be able to experience the arts and be provided equitable opportunities to achieve a high level of musical performance individually and in ensembles. 

Jeffco will lead in Colorado, fostering lifelong learning and 21st-century skills through music education. Quality instrumental music education is achieved through strong, supported, and collaborative teaching at all grade levels by professional music educators with fidelity to academic standards.
