Our School

The school was built in 1973 and was named for Theodore (Ted) Arthur Hutchinson, a developer and builder in the Denver area for more than 30 years. Hutchinson was originally designed as an open-space concept school. The main classroom areas were remodeled in 1986 and an additional wing was added in the early part of the 1990's.

Thanks to Jeffco voters we received funding for much needed building renovations and upgrades  in March 2020 with a brand new library set up: front desk, tables chairs, alternative seating and shelving! Work continued into the summer on the cafeteria, new front office location, fresh new hallway carpets, upgrades to old plumbing and a new boiler too! So we have a fresh new look and a whole new improved infrastructure!

Check us out on Google Earth (the photo is a little old as we still show our two temp classrooms which were removed in 2020 too).
