Health Room: Health at School
JEFFCO School Health Aides are paraprofessionals who are on-site in each school health room during the school day. As per the Colorado Nurse Practice Act, nursing tasks are delegated by the District Registered Nurse to the School Health Aide. Daily needs of students, such as administering medication, taking care of sick and injured students and performing specialized procedures such as nebulizer treatments are then carried out by the Hutch School Health Aide, Terrie Fontenot.
April 6, 2022: Hutchinson Elementary is now enrolled in the Colorado Department of Public Health and
Environment’s Test to Stay program. Read more about how to enroll at this link.
