Dear Hutchinson Families, Prospective Families, and Community Members:

Welcome to the 2020-21 school year at Hutchinson Elementary, home of the Huskies! I am so excited to return for my second year as Hutchinson's principal. The 2019-20 school was an interesting one indeed and I know the staff is truly hopeful that it will be safe enough that we can have all students return for in-person learning. You will be hearing from me in the weeks leading up to the day students return (August 24th as of now). It is important that we continue to hear from our community about your concerns and needs. The district will be sending out a survey to all families as well.
I truly believe that building positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community is key to a successful school where students feel safe to learn and grow. I am e
xcited to continue the innovative work at Hutchinson and it is a privilege for me to serve this incredible community.
As many of you live close to the school, you have probably noticed that it is currently under major construction. Everything is on schedule and we should be good to go by the time teachers return on August 12th. My official day back is July 15th. Kim and Leigh Anne return to work on July 22nd. If you have questions or need to get in touch with any of us, right now email is the best form of communication until we can get back in our building.

There are many ways to get involved at Hutchinson Elementary:
